        Application for Undergraduate Dormitory in Fall Semester 2020

Eligibility: Undergraduate students who are NOT living in any of the On-Campus dormitory. Applicants and parents should have their household registry registered outside of Taipei City, New Taipei City, and Keelung City, for more than 2 years.
  • Students who take a leave of absence are qualified to participate in the dormitory draw, but ones should re-enroll in school when you have been assigned to a room and are about to check in. If not, you will be disqualified from the application.
  • Undergraduate students who are currently living in BOT are eligible to draw for the On-Campus dormitory, but if you desire to terminate the contract with BOT in advance as your application of On-Campus dormitory is successful, you will have to pay one-month security deposit according to BOT dormitory contract.
  • For those living in any of the campus dormitory currently, if your accommodation has expired, please contact Student Housing Service Division (Ms. Teng) to re-open the access authority.
  • If you fail to apply with an updated household registry, please inform Student Housing Service Division (Ms. Teng), and update your residence address at the Undergraduate Academic Affairs Division Office.
  • Students are required to bring along the household registry documents (both students’ and parents’) on the check-in day to be verified. Your eligibility will be removed if you failed to do so.

Application dates: 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8th, 2020 to 17:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17th, 2020. (Late entry will NOT be accepted.)

  • Students with the following conditions will receive priority when being accommodated, please upload the appropriate documents or deliver by mail or personally to Ms. Teng Ming-Ying, Student Housing Service Division, No. 1, Sec. 4, Roosevelt Rd., Da’an District, Taipei City 10617.

The following conditions are arranged in priority:

  1. Students with a documented disability. (The copied document needs to be attached.)
  2. Students with low income household. (Low income household certificate with applicant’s name needs to be attached.) Free for dormitory fees, but deposit needs to be paid.
  3. Students from mid-low income household. Reduction of 30% dormitory fees. (The certificate needs to be attached.)
  4. Islanders and aboriginal students. (Household registry documents need to be attached.)
  • Students whose accommodation expired year has been reached (with student ID B05, Department of Veterinary Medicine; B04, Department of Dentistry; B03, Department of Medicine; B03) are still eligible, ordering after other applicants.
  • Non-graduated of double major, transfer, leave of absence and teacher education program students should attach a transcript or any proving documentation for delayed graduation, ordering before other extension-graduation students.

Application result announcement: 2.00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18th, 2020, on Student Housing Service Division website and the application website. To protect students’ right, do not exchange the drawing result with others.

 Students can choose to apply for Downtown Dorm or Main-Campus dorm. If you are not interested in any one of them, do not fill it when applying. Waiting list will be carried on until December 15th, 2020. Students can check the waiting list on the application website.
Please visit https://ntudorm.prince.com.tw if you are interested in applying for the BOT prince house(From July 15 to July 25). Students may apply for both On-campus and BOT dormitory at the same time, but ones should choose either of them if you succeed in getting both.
Students with their household registered in Taipei City, New Taipei City, and Keelung City, can be accommodated every semester if there are available beds. Remote districts receive priority. Please note that residence is only temporary and lasts until the finals week of the second semester of the academic year. Summer accommodation is not allowed and students must apply every year. Please pay attention to your NTU mail or the Student Housing Service Division’s website for the latest information.
